In a post last year I wrote about how my New Year’s resolution in 2018 was to read at least 1 book a month. In 2019 I wanted to continue in the same fashion, and set the same goal. Did I acheive it? Yes I did! 2018 was definitely a better year reading-wise for me, but I take that as an indicator of how much other fun stuff was happening in 2019.
I thought given the extra time we all are given at the moment this was a good time to share the books I read last year. If you want even more book titles then definitely check out my post from last year here.

Books I read in 2019:
Books in English:
Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney
Normal People by Sally Rooney
Your Erroneous Zones by Dr. Wayne D. Wyer
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
Your Writing Coach: From Concept to Character, from Pitch to Publication by Jürgen Wulff
When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times by Pema Chödrön
So what were my favorites? Sally Rooney comes on the top of the list. I finished those both of those books practically in 1 sitting. The Power of Now and Your Erroneous Zones are both reads I definitely recommend for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge on thought patterns and breaking out of bad habits.
For my Norwegians; Kinderwhore, Jeg nekter å tenke, Historie om et eksteskap and Like sant som jeg er virkelig were my favorites of the books from our fellow countrymen (pointing out that 3 of those books were written by women; girlpower!)
I hope this lis added some new books on your radar. I’d love to hear what kind of books you have been reading!
